About Me
Hi, I'm Dwight Anderson. I started collecting cameras as a hobby in about 1985. I found my first camera, a Kodak No. 2 Folding Cartridge Hawkeye, at an antique show at the local mall. I was intrigued by the design, and actually shot some 120 film in it at the Grand Canyon. I started looking for old cameras at yard sales and auctions. Eventually I started going to the local camera swaps as a customer, and then I bought a couple of other people's collections and started going to shows as a dealer. Eventually eBay became a thing, and late night searches led to way too many cameras.

Then digital photography became a reality. Fewer people came to the camera swaps, and I spent most of my free time with the kids and their activities. The cameras were displayed in most rooms of the house, but weren't given much attention. Boxes of inventory sat in the basement.

But now, nearing retirement, I've got more time and the current revival of film use in a new generation has prompted me to return to an old idea of having a website showing the cameras I've collected over the years, and photos taken with them.

So I hope you enjoy my posts, I welcome any comments, and if you're looking for an old camera, check out my Etsy store.
